Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is pretty good considering it is an engineering course and you expect it to be very tough and so on but it is not like that at all it is very understandable pretty easy to grasp. The curriculum is a bit bookish and yet it has all the information about the course that you would only find in the top notch universities which is really good in your career onwards. The timing of the exams are a bit too tight and not comfortable for me.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for employment and placement during the third year of their course which is in the 5th sem. The availability of placements will depend on person to person depending on their skills and talents. The companies which approach the college for internship and placement would start from wipro and extent to tata steels and other very big and small companies which have proved themselves to be competent in their respective fields. The average packages would start from 200000 to 800000 per year depending on their talents. My plans for the future is to take a masters and expand my field of knowledge about my interests such as artificial intelligence and so on.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for me is 75000 per year for me, then there is the 8500 special fee atlast the exam fee of 2205. In the KTU you have a very large variety of scholarships both goverment based and private based, you can opt for any scholarship you want on your own that is the point you to do all that on your own without any help from the faculties or so. Students can partake any role they want to take in clubs and association, through this you can improve your leadership skills and interpersonal skills. I'm the representative and president of IEEE in my college

Campus Life :

The main thing which lacks in our college is the infrastructure. To put it bluntly, shortly and effectively I would say that my college does not have any campus to talk about. We do have a campus just for show but not what you would imagine when you say a proffesional college. The library is a good place to feel calm and study with everyone it has a good ambience and a calm atmosphere which helps you to study more. Extracurricular activities are a rare sight in this college which does not provide a decent ground to play and enjoy. When you talk about clubs to join you have a wide variety of clubs to join from the entrepreneurial IEEE club to the nerds palace of GAMING CLUB, you can join these clubs which are run by students for students with students and improve your overall acadamic and professional life.

Hostel Facilities :

In this desert of a place the hostel is the only oasis where you feel like home where you can enjoy yourselves. The hostel provides a calm and enjoyable environment with very good and phenomenal food that will leave you awestruck. The lunch here which is prepared by the aunties are just wonderful. The affordability is pretty good when you compare with other colleges which give you a very good experience. The fee for the college is 5200 per month which include food which I think is a very sweet deal.

Admission :

At first i took admission in this college through the management and reserved a seat then I got in through the entrance exam so they transferred me from management to merit. The course AI&DS is the course which will navigate the entire future technology and information, this course mainly focuses on ai and datascience which both have the potential to change the world. The exams are not that bad considering the prejudice but the timing of exams are a bit too tight. The admission process was overall good, no complaints from my side.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
