Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum at Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh sahib is highly relevant and comprehensive making it standout choice for students seeking quality education. Its popularity among students and syllabus that incorporates recent trends and practical knowledge influenced me to join this college. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills by modes such as industrial visits. Innovative teaching methods such as flipped classrooms could help build innovation among students. Exams are conducted in a structured manner covering the whole syllabus comprehensively.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 5th or 6th semester for placements. Organisations such as amazon,flipkart, icici bank, microsoft, google have reached college for placements. Highest package gained by our students ranges from 12-15 LPA and average package from 3-5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of my course ranges from 16000-19000. They're number of scholarships available which includes scholarships for Economically weaker zone students, SC/ST students, Academic scholarships etc. I'm not availing any bus facility but maximum bus fees is ?9000 based on distance. Organisations such a icici bank, amazon, flipkart, hdfc bank come for placement opportunities every 6 months.
Campus Life
Mata gujri college provides number of opportunities for willing candidates such as dance, music and other cultural activities by providing exposure in youth fest. Athletic meet takes place every year. Where anyone can show his talent in sports such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, race, long jump and many more.
Admission
The admission of Mata gujri college was simple and straightforward. I applied through offline mode. The application required basic personal and academic information, along with submission of basic documents such as marksheet and aadhar card. Everyone attaining more than 60% in 12th was eligible. I got extra ?5000 relief in fees because I got more than 90% marks in 12th. There was no entrance exam. I just filled the application form available, and teacher from commerce department helped me fill the it.
