- I like the that teacher are really punctual and knowledgeable here the student who are really serious for their studies should choose this college.
- Here everyone gets entry with their I'd card so security is good as outsiders are not allowed
Dislikes
- everyone knows that student also want some enjoyment along with study some events and all but they don't organise such things there are just small competitions like we have in schools but not like other colleges have.
- Hostel timings are really early only till 5:00 in winters and 6:00 in summers
Course Curriculum Overview
As we know honours means specialisation so obviously my main concern was that and also I passed my 12th in commerce stream as I had interest there. That was my main reason to choose this course my subjects are very applicable and includes our everyday activities every organisation and firm is incomplete without it and there are many employment opportunities in here .
Fees and Financial Aid
As I am the student of bcom hons in mata gujri college fatehgarh sahib the yearly fees of college is approx 35000 prr semester 18500 and also I am a hosteller the hostel fees fluctuates from 20000-25000. They organise test for scholarship if you get good marks in that you will get scholarship
Campus Life
As I said that this college is not good at organising events and festivals. They just organise small events like paper reading competition rangoli making , consumer hub. I don't think that they are upto mark in this thing. Infrastructure is really good by the way.
Hostel Facilities
You will get one bed one table one chair and one almirah in your room. Rest of the things will be yours. Rent of hostel is 25000 per year and mess fees is 2400 per month. mess food is good but not very good . Menu includes only vegetarian food and sweets three times in a week. PG's are also available near college you can go for that.
Admission
I saw that this college is A grade college this was the main reason and I got to know that staff is really cooperative and knowledgeable and punctual. And someone from my family before studied here so that was also a trustable thing for my parents.
Faculty
Ours teachers are really knowledgeable and very disciplined. learning is really good here and exam structure is also very good . Other faculty staff non-teaching staff are also really good and cooperative.
Night Life
Their is no night life of this college you can just enjoy in hostel and not outside in night and you can hangout in morning wherever you want to buy not in night. Hostel timings is 6:00 in summers and 5:00 in winters. Here are a lot of cafes where we can hangout we mostly hangout in class cafe , abroc , castle grill.
