- The timings to enter hostel is 6 pm in girls hostel
- The staffs tends to be least bothered at times when we are injured while at work.
- The college tends to take unnecessary expenses on us.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is relatively easier than mbbs. All that is taught is completely relevant to the future works we deal with . So it's important to have a thorough understanding of what we learn. There must be more hand-on work to help us to prosper more in this field. And I feel the patient exposure is a little less but it's appreciable. The exams conducted is fair enough with 3 internals and a university exam for 4 years. We also have a 1-year rotational internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is 4 lakh per year with scholarship benefit it reduces to 3 lakh an year . It will cost a total of near 20 lakh with additional payments of hostel . We have stipends of 5000/- monthly during internship period.
Campus Life
We have annual day every October with other celebrations like onam and Christmas which the students conduct on their own. There is sports day conducted every march were we can show our extra curricular skills.. we also have cultural day celebrations that last for 4 days. We have a sports platform called yendurance which has a basketball court , football court and badminton. We have student portals and social groups that helps us in updating with different reports and upcomings .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is pretty good with a 3 bed and attached bathroom. We have separate study tables and decent cupboards and kitchen area. We have mess food at specific timing which is adjustable and the food is fine. We have chicken kebab every friday and Wednesday . Chicken is main non veg provided almost every day dinner. Morning we get idli, dosa, upma, poori, bread . It's compulsory that we stay in a hostel unless our parents aren't nearby.
Admission
The admission was step-wise process. The application process began about 2 weeks after publishing the results. An eligibility mark was required to apply. During my time it was about 150 marks on 650. I didn't have any reservations about benefits.
