Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering because it was my dream to be a builder. I am currently researching in the structure analysis.

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn’t provide internship and all the students have to do the internship on their own. Doing an internship is also a very tough thing as many don't have the knowledge regarding the internship.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement is very poor for the core branch student. Only 10% got placed from the core branch. And those who have been placed they placed in the it company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its fee structure is very high and I couldn’t afford it so i have taken loan from the bank. Its fee structure is as follows: Institutional fee :- 1,10,000 per sem, Hostel fee:- 17,500 per sem, Mess fee:- 15,000per sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship and no load.

Faculty

Faculty is very good and helpful and have a piece of good knowledge of their respective subjects. The faculty always try to give assignments regularly and makes us unrelaxed.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT NIT

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.
