Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I took is in quite a demand for industries. It is a very interesting course to pursue. We are having labs in our college but they are not up to the mark. There is equipment in all labs but the equipment is very old and some are not in good condition. There is much competition held inside are a campus. The college takes quite initiatives in research work and they promote students for it.

Internships Opportunities

College does provide internship to students. Usually, it is unpaid. They also provide industrial visit. The industrial visit is more or less a picnic.

Placement Experience

The placement of are college is been at higher side from last few years. Almost 90% students attending placement are getting placed in good company. Major companies are Amazon, Schindler Electrical, L & T, etc.

College Events

There are many technical events organized in our campus. Most of the event are held at big scale. Some events are held for students of our college so they are held at a small scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a private college so it's fees is a bit on the higher side. It is approx 3lakh including the tuition fees and book. The books are been provided by college whose fees will around 15K.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does provide with a scholarship for students who are good in academics. I didn't get any scholarship. Yes college do help in providing loans from a bank

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in a hostel for one academic year. The hostel area sharing basis. 3 students in one non AC room. There are AC rooms too. They are bit expensive than non AC room. The food quality was good but some days the taste of the food was bad. The hostel and food would cost around 1.2 lakh per annum.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes college does have alumni meet . Yes, many alumni contributed in the development of the college.

Faculty

There are mix bags of faculty. Some faculty are quite experienced and are quite knowledgeable. Some faculty is not so experienced but they are helpful. Almost all faculty are approachable and they are helpful and interactive to all students. The standard of teaching is good at this college campus

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.
