Course Curriculum Overview

The courses at Chandigarh University are good. A Lot of practical work is done in laboratories also and teachers are also cooperative.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college doesn't provide an internship programme. But the student can bring the letter from any company and give it to their department saying this company is ready to provide me with the internship.

Placement Experience

Many placement opportunities are available for the students in each and every field like a number of companies come such as Amazon, HCL, TCS, ONGC etc. Amazon placed one student a package of about 22lakh yearly. This is a handsome amount.

College Events

There are lot many events taking place in the university. Events like CUfest, cultural fest, Tashannites and a lot more. Authorities also help us in doing these events by supporting students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure in this university is very high. The fee for one semester for the B.tech student is Rs 60000. This amount is not affordable for many of the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not provide any scholarship but if there is any government/state scholarship they just provide students scholarship.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms of Chandigarh University are available on sharing with other students. Each room has 4-5 students. Food in the hostel is not good enough to eat as many a times there is watery vegetables instead of curry. Cost of the hostel is also high near about 75000 yearly.

Teachers are qualified and experienced also. But only some are interactive. If we talk about the standard of teaching, it is just moderate. A lot of teachers complete their degree and become a lecturer with no experience. So this is the issue of concern.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Collages Are fun and best if provide diverse ecosystem

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
