Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for the Chemical Engineering is basically for the students to be able to go for jobs in petroleum, sugar and alcohol industries. Lab practices help in real world applications. Particularly there is nothing major to be improved in teaching methods or in curriculum. Timing of exams is good and it's fine.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 86300 per year

Placement Experience

6th and 7th are mainly the semesters where candidates can apply for jobs. Companies like Accenture, Acer, Infosys, TCS visit the campus for placement. In chemical engineering probability of placements is 50%. After getting the degree, I will go for placement along with the initiation of preparation of GATE examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is affordable for a lot of people, especially for financially weak candidates. Complete cost of education will be around 5 lakh rupees maximum and 1 lakh extra for miscellaneous expenditure. The college is applicable for UP government scholarship along with some provided by themselves.

Campus Life

Technical fest like Techsrijan is a good one. Cultural fest Abhyudaya is good too but this year it wasn't good enough. Books and journals are available in sufficient numbers in the library. Technological provisions are satisfactory in classes. Sports and extracurricular activities are not very good had it got a better set of seniors. And social groups and clubs too, only if seniors there representing the group did more of work than just talking, could have been made better. The impact on a student's life mainly depends on positive and negative influence in the course of degree.

Admission

The admission process is not as lengthy as it seems to be. Candidates are qualified by their JEE Main ranks and allocated branches as per the respective ranks. Application can be found in its NIC website along with all other things. You will get reservation benefit if you are in main round counseling. I would recommend not to go for spot round as there will be no benefit of reservation. Admission process can be improved by timely sending notifications during counseling which has created a lot of problems.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.
