Course Curriculum Overview

The course and it's curicculum is new and yet old, it follows the typical engineering standard and yet include the new information you would find in top notch universities over the world, overall the curricculum is good. The compressive rate is also pretty good it's not that hard but it's not that easy too you need to pay attention to the class and to the lecturer. The exams are a bit too cramed at times but overall it's okay

The thing about placement here is that only a few handful students actually get placement and the companies they get placed will be small regional companies not like wipro or google or anything like that but still good companies. Students are eligible to get placement at the last of their 3rd sem if they don't have any supply or anything like that. My plans after this is to get a masters then to specilise in data science.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

For me the fee per sem is 32500 plus there is a special fee of 8000 and then there is the exam fee, the thing I noticed in this college is that the fee structure vary from person to person depending on the time of enterance in the college. The thing about scholarships here is that the college will tell you about scholarship but you have to do everything on your own with no guidance whatsoever.

Campus Life

Mescet munnukara doesnt boast a lot of fests and events apart from annual arts, sports and freshers day events. We also get to participate in kerala technological university inter college arts and sports fest. The college has student organizations such as IEEE, IEDC, GDSC and GDC. Even though there are more clubs, the clubs i mentioned before are the most active ones.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 hostels right now, one specifically for first years and one for the upperyears in my hostel that is in the first years hostel you get one apartment in which there are 2 bedrooms one living area, one bathroom, one kitchen and a balcony. The food here is very good especially the lunch which is spectacular and you actually feel like you never left home, the affordability of the hostel when you compare with others is pretty good too, it is 5200 per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 62400 per year

Admission

The course is pretty relevent in the world right now due to the high development in the AI sector. You can reserve your seat ahead of time for 5000 rupees, in my personal case I wrote the entrance exam and got in through it but to be safe I also reserved a seat here for 5000 rupees

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Students who have completed their sixth semester can start their placements. Infosys, Wipro,TCS, digitalcore, USTGlobal , Sutherland, Accenture etc had taken placements from last years. The average package starts from 120000 lpa and highest was 700000lpa. This year itself more than 800 students was placed in different companies. I did write the KEAM entrance exams but unfortunately I did not get in through it and therefore I got in through management seat where I reserved my seat for 5000 rupees. The thing is the admission process took a bit too long and it was a bit laggy that was the only problem that I had when I went through the admission process. The thing about exams is that there are too many exams in a very tight schedule, the exams are a bit too squished with a tight schedule. At first i took admission in this college through the management and reserved a seat then I got in through the entrance exam so they transferred me from management to merit. The course AI&DS is the course which will navigate the entire future technology and information, this course mainly focuses on ai and datascience which both have the potential to change the world. The admission process was rather simple, a teacher of this institution contacted me and told me the details and benefits of this college. I booked a seat that is I reserved a seat in this college for 2000 rupees for a safety then after some days I came to this college for filling put applications for admission and other things.
