Course Curriculum Overview
These course is basically related to hospitality travel and tourism. The growth of tourism industry is increasing day by day. So these course is an better option for us to get a good job. It is an Integrated course so after 5 years of collage life will get the post graduation certificate also. These is better for our future. The faculty are talented and they teach a good knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
For our department the companies like hotels, travel agencies, other organization related to tourism are giving opportunity to the students for internship. Stipend is more than 1000/ year for an intern.
Placement Experience
After completing the msc 3rd semester the companies will announce the campus placement. That time studants have an interview and if they eligible the company will recruit. Hotel Taj, Grand hyatt are the some of the companies offering placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is much lesser than compare to other collages in Goa. The exam fee hasn't included in the tution fee. The University is providing merit basis scholorship, the amount is based on the fee of the course. Other scholorships also they are providing for Goan students.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the campus is very good,and they providing feeld trips, study tours for the students. Also the students union conducting annual cultural events, sports, dhandiya night , etc. The facilities is enough good for students. Fully air-conditioned class rooms with projecters are there in all class rooms . Good facilities provided in the practical lab also.
Hostel Facilities
Overview of the hostel is good and better. 2 members are sharing one room so it gives a good privacy and atmosphere. Each floor have 2 washing machines. Tv room and sports room are there with in the hostel. They also conducting annual games with in the hostel residence. Veg and non veg are provided in the mess and the fee is based on the menu that which is selecting
Admission
After heigher secondary anyone can apply this course. It has university's entrance exam, and they only provide 2 seats for other state. GUART is the website for applying the course and university provides scholarship for students.
Interview Experience
During the entrance exam time they also conduct a Interview for the applicants. The topic is related to the hospitality, travel and tourism. Why we were choose the particular course etc. Mainly they focus on the confidence, knowledge and language of the applicants.
