MY DREAM LIFE AT GOA UNIVERSITY

1) I always had deep liking for my subject economics as it very challenging one and can be related to the real world as well considering various aspects studied 2) AS mentioned prior this course and faculty make your base strong to apply the theory and pratical knowleedge in real world situations and job oppurtunities 3) Could improve by providing us some intership or placement oppurtunities 4) 4 semesters in total and has different difficulty level based on choice of specialization esp quantitative subjects such as Maths, Econometrics and Finance

I enrolled for my Masters in Arts for Economics Honours which was a full time 2 years degree course from this renowned university in Goa. The 2 years programme was roughly around 25k which is only course fee. The books and other materials were charged at actuals. We could access the library free of cost where we had varied choices for study material. The computer lab for quantitative subject was not charged additionally. I belonged to the General caste so dint have to opt for any additional reservations or offers. The fees would differ as per the domain selection as to Arts, Science, MBA, MCA programmes. There are scholorship programmes for Merit students as well such as prizes, trophies, recognitions etc.

1) I ony applied for Goa university as I reside in Goa and its a top notch university with a grade of B++ in NAAC 2) NA 3) The admission process is basic and as followed in nany normal college with submission of basic docs, KYC & admission fees. Minimum 55% to get admissions

Each class strenght would vary subject and specilization vise. Pur department of economics for my batch were 40 students and 5-6 different faculty members. All the faculty are extremely talented and experienced in their teachings and subject expertise right from theorotical to practical knowledge. they hold a phd degree as well in the resp subject. there were no sudents who had back papers or couldnt clear. The exams are not very difficult and if studied with complete focuss than can pass with flying colours

1) It has all these facilities which are well equipped and paid basis . Alos the food facility is too good 2) They have boys- girls separate facilities for hostel and safe and strict timings 3) It lies in the taleigao area so close by to dona paula / Panjim etc
