The student is required to score a minimum 65%in their high school board examination. they can fill out the application form from SRMIST WEBSITE. Give the SRMJEEE exam and depending upon your rank you can get the scholarship too.

The university changed its whole curriculum this year for the 2023 btech students batch. They introduced subjects such as entrepreneur mindset to promote entrepreneurship. there are many research labs at the university

University provides many internship opportunities . some university students who start their own startup they also provide opportunities to their fellow mates . University is very active in providing internships they regularly send emails to everyone whenever their is any opportunity available

From sixth semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements the highest package is 50lakhs per annum average being 9.90LPA the total number of students who were placed in 2023 is358 and total offers made is 541

academic fees depends upon the course chosen by the student like for cse academic fee is 3 lakh 35 thousand rupees per annum for branches like ECE, Mechanical, civil fees is 2lakhs 35thousand for 2023 they have increased their fees this year

there are many books in the library we also have access to e books and journals . New library is also underconstruction . there are many fests that are there in university ameya is the business fest , Udgam being the sports fest , Aloha is the freshsers party and Infinitus being the national level Cultural fest and we also have a Tech fest

there are 2/3/4 sharing /4 bunker AC /Non AC rooms which you can book during hostel booking menu includes both north and south indian variety , night canteen is available in hostels which starts from 6:30pm
