Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing BCA so there are very much practical in the curriculum and to do so various labs are required, the university has numerous labs in the campus, upto my knowledge there are atleast 7 Labs. Each Lab can serve 60-70 students. Besides course curriculum we also get to learn professional profeciency, in which they teach english and quantitive aptitude, this subject is in all the courses. Besides that in BCA in the 1st Year they also, taught us Management Subjects such as Business Communication, and Management Concept and Practices. They also taught us Environmental Studies in the 1st Semester of Every Bachelor's Course.
Placement Experience
I think from 5th semester students becomes eligible for campus placements Most of the companies that come to the university to offer placements are startup and newly formed companies, which offer job at very less salary which is avg according to the industry. The percentage of students getting placements are less as most of the students want to complete their post graduation, so they do not sit for placement. After getting degree i am planning to do post graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Once you have enrolled in course then the fee remains the same for the whole course duration. However the bus and hostel fees increases every year. The complete cost of BCA during my batch will cost: 188000/- Scholarship provided by university is based on merits. 5,000/- 70%+ 10,000/- 80%+ 15,000/- 90%+
Campus Life
Every year Freshers is held besides that annually Sports event is also organized. Various events are held most of them are Course specific and Year Specific. Most of the classes have projectors and white board in it, although some of the classes have chalk board or green board. Groups are formed based on students interest in a particular topic.
Admission
Well for most of the Courses eligibility criteria is simple you just have to give an entrance exam which is an MCQ based exam which is held on computers the exam is very easy to crack as there are very less questions. However the most important thing is that if you are choosing a course that is not common then you should check the course eligibility on United University website or by contacting the admissions office. The application form, fees structure and deadlines are also available on the website. Fees may vary depending on the programme. Frequency of exams: 2 sesional exams (mid-sem) gap 1.5 months, 1 end-semester examination gap 1.5 months. Areas to improve in admission process: 1. Admission process could be more readily available information on the website this includes highlighting reservation categories specific eligibility requirements for each programme. 2. Providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the application process.
