College management is up to the mark. They manage the college very well.

I decided to take admission in a biotechnology course. My very first choice was DIBNS, Dehradun because of its high academic standards, quality education, and research-based study in subjects related to modern science and in addition it was near my hometown.

The course curriculum is very good. This course totally cover 16 subjects plus dissertation (in last semester). Labs are well equipped. The course generally covers overall the areas of modern science e.g., Immunotechnology, Research methodology etc. Biotechnology is the wide area for research and in this college, they genuinely believe in it. There are 3 hours classes are in theory and 4 hours are for an experiment. So overall this college has good course curriculum.

They generally do not provide internship, but they conduct hands-on training for the student's exposure.

Placement cell is there. Placement cell also helps students very much. They always provide the best placement for their students. There are so many companies which come to the campus like Sage publications, R&D, Cipla, IGL etc. They generally offer 1.5 lakhs/a for freshers.

College fest shrijan is always conducted in the month of February. This is of usually 7 days. By the start of Feb month, they also conduct inter-departmental sports meet. Every department fights for two trophies which are the cultural cup and a sports cup. Events like dance, singing, kho-kho, cricket, poster presentation etc take place.

College provides the scholarship to the meritorious as well as the needy student. Although the fee structure is not too expensive. Forex: my free structure was 70,000 for M.sc biotechnology and 50,000 for B.sc biotechnology. In the annual day chairman, sir gives a scholarship to the overall topper also.

Chairman sir give the scholarship to the overall topper by the end of the annual week. Loan facilities are maybe not there. I genuinely don't know about it.

Our campus is full of diversity. There are northeastern students as well as Kashmiris. Bengalies and south Indian students are also taking admission to our college. DSWC is there to help students which are maintained by the dean of our college. There is always Bhandara takes place in bala sundari mandir for poor people.

Hostel facilities are also good. Generally, in order to the fresher they have to share their room with 2 another students and when you move to the second year hostel staff allows students to live with their choice of partner. Food is also good. Wifi facilities are also there.

Seniors and alumni network of this college is very great. There is alumni meet takes place by the month of Feb.

In this college, they are totally strict about quality education. They conduct internals by the end of every 1 month. Class tests are also conducted by a particular teacher after completing one unit of the subject. They also give assignments to the students.

Taking admission in DIBNS was not that tough for me because the main motive of this college is to provide education to everyone whether the student is financially poor or average in studies. My grades were good so I did not find any difficulty in taking admission. The admission process was direct.

The faculty of this college is like family. They always help you when you need to. Teachers are very friendly. During the lectures, they fully connect with their students so that student do not find lectures boring. Even the administrative staff of the college is also good.
