- The cultural fest of IIT BHU Kashiyatra is one of the grand event in India . In this many celebrities come .It is a three day event in this many students come and many events happen.
- In IIT BHU the mess is one of the best you can get compared to different colleges. Everyday the mess menu is different.The hygiene is top notch.
- There are many clubs for different activities which helps students to go in their interested field
Dislikes
- The IIT BHU Campus is an open campus which is a negative point because of this the traffic is very hectic.
- The roads are not upto the mark and since bikes are allowed inside campus which increases the pollution.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted computer engineering but in jee advanced my rank was not that much . According to my rank I got civil engineering but now I am liking it.I think Civil is the most practical course in engineering unlike Electrical or Computer science.I suggest that in Civil engineering there should be more research so that there will be more betterment in roads or building.The exams in college are easy as they are more oriented on understanding.
Internships Opportunities
In IIT BHU there are many internship opportunity.If you want intership you need to apply for it in the 4 th semester. Companies which offer internship are Google,Uber ,etch giving good stipend. If a company likes you then they also give PPOs. The conversion of Intership to PPOs is good in IIT BHU.
Placement Experience
In IIT BHU the students are eligible from 7 th semester for the placements. There are many companies which come for placements since it is a premier institute. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, etc comes giving good packages.In this year 978 offers are made.The highest package this year was 1.68 cr and the average package was 22 lakhs. This time 88 percentage students were placed .My plan is to do PH.D and want to go in research field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the whole course is about 10 lakhs including hostel and mess.There is no increase policy in the college .Since it is a national or central level college therefore the fees is not that much as compared to other colleges.Yes there are many scholarship for backward class or for financial bad background. Many Government scholarship also comes.
Campus Life
In IIT BHU there are mainly 3 events Kashiyatra which is a cultural fest held in January. There is a sports fest which is Spardha happens in October and one is technical fest Technex which is held in March. There is a central library having ,many books. In every class there is smart board and the seats and table are of good quality.There is one club for every extracurricular and sports .
Hostel Facilities
In my 2 year there is 3 sitting in a room including 3 chair 3 table and 3 beds and 2 almirah.The rooms are very spacious.The mess quality I can say is one of the best you can get. Everyday there is different menu and on Saturday there is Special menu. The registration process of hostel happens with the course registration only.
Admission
The admission process is quite simple .The real part is to qualify for the exam .First you need to give jee main after this if you fulfil the criteria you give jee advanced.The forms of this exams are available in the Google .Jee mains happens 2 times a year and Advanced happens one time a year if you qualify.
