Things About NIT Patna

I am doing my major in ELectrical engineering. I find this course a bit hard as compared to other department courses but it is quite intresting to stydy. In NIT Patna I must say the faculty i got is very great they taught this subject very well. Some of faculty are not that good but most of them are very good. They conduct labs every week for a subject. The academic calendar is also well designed and everything get prepared in time. NIT Patna conducts 2 exams per semester. Exams are a little tough.

There are internship opportunity provided for the students. Many companies like azure, flipkart provides paid internship with stipend. many students also gets POP while doing internship. there are summer internship offered for the third and forth year students.

The placement is now good as compared to previous years. The average salary offered is around 14 LPA. The highest on campus salary offered is 52 LPA. one student of NIT Patna got 1.2 cr package offcampus. There is obviously a eligibility criteria for sitting in placement. one should have GPA above the mentioned figure to apply for placement.

The tutioin fee is constant for the whole course duration. There is no such hike in charges of college fee or any thing during the whole course duration.The tution fee of per semester is 62500rs the hostel fee is 12000rs and mess fee is 20000rs for per semester. The overall charge of per semester is aprox 126000rs. There is no tution fee for SC/ST category. Scholarships are also available for girls and other people too. There is internship opportunity also provided during third semester and placement is also good.

The campus llife is not so great in NIT Patna as the campus size is small, the new campus is bieng made. But there is many club activity and ther are many clubs technnical and cultural both like GDSC, IEEE, Hackslash, DesCo, TESLA, ASME, etc for technical domain and saptak, total chaos, natwansh, expresso for cultural. the annual and cultural fest CORONA and MILANG is organised in the month of january. The athelete meet is also organised during february every year. There are many extracurricular activities held regularly for self development of students.

for getting admission in NIT Patna one should have passed the class 12th with min of 75% of marks in the stream of science with maths. This makes you eligible for the examinination of JEE Mains. For admission in any of NITs you have to qualify JEE Mains. You can get the application form NTAs official website. The application fees for JEE Mains is 1000 rs for general and 500rs for sc/st. You get the reservation benifits in admission process. This is not that tough to crack the exams. One can crack it with the preparation of One year or just after 12th.
