Mess food is great as we compare it with other IITs
Cultural fest that is kashiyatra is good in this college.
Location of the college is very close to every railway station and airport

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that impressive . Only some buildings have a good Infrastructure

I was interested in metallurgy rather than other branches that I was getting Because I was interested in Metallurgy from the preparation time .there are two exams conducted in every semester with one month of gap .

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies coming for internships in IIT BHU , the highest stipend last internship season was 4.4 lakhs. There are many different roles for which company comes which include backend developer, data analytics, front-end etc.

Placement Experience

In last year of there btech in the college they are eligible to take part in the placements. No. Of companies visited was around 250-300 and highest package was 1.67 cr with average package of 20 lpa and approx 80 percent students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

This college provides a good amount of fee waiver in which almost 90% of the total fees is reduced if your parents income is below 1 lakh. Only mess fees is applicable in the college if parents income is below 1 lakh

Campus Life

The cultural fest of iit bhu is held on every January which is a 3 days fest in which many different cultural activities are held along with pronite , dj night etc And technex is the technical fest of this college which is held on every March which is also a 3 days fest

Hostel Facilities

New hostels are being constructed which is very spacious and good looking with having 5 lights In a single room. Although mess food is not so good but it is considered good as compared to other IITs. Overall new hostels are good but the old one are not that great

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

Admission in iit bhu is done on the basis of jee advanced result To get admission in this college with particular course you should have cracked jee advanced with a decent rank. You have to apply on josaa which is a counseling website in which you get admission in government colleges including IIT's NIT IIIT according to your jee rank

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
