Dislikes

old professors who can't keep up with latest trends, and emphasise on traditional methods of teaching
adiministration is controlled by these profs and they do not understand the sentiment of students at all
BHU which is not part of IIT campus interferes a lot in our businesses

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't find it relevant but it is neccesary to build the basics. Comprehensiveness depends on professor. I chose this course beacuse it had maths, core math, which is important for all programming applications. The course can be improved by including more practicing of the curriculum.

Placement Experience

There placement and internship opportunity on campus. BTech students are eligible for internship in 5th semester, 3rd year and for placement in 8th semester, 4th year. IDD students are eligible for internship for internship in 7th semester, 4th year and for placement in 10th semester,5th year. Our branch has recieved the highest pachage of over 1.2 crore per annum and the average is high too. Our branch specifically has better placement than others. This branch is suitable for pursuing research further too.

Fees and Financial Aid

You will get different opportunities to avail scholarships from different sources, organisations, etc. The fees includes almost ! lac per semester and hostel fees is low for IIT bhu. Mess fees is 15 thousand per semester. You regularly recieve mails for different scholarship opportunities, so it's all good.

Campus Life

The college was really awesome clubs form science and technology, cultural,film and media, and sports etc. We have fests like Technex, Kashiyatra, Spardha, FMC etc. The classroom facilities are really cool too. there are many, many clubs run by students programming, business, quant, robotics, aeromodelling, acting, dance,music,etc. Many places to go in varansi too. No late night restrictions.

Hostel Facilities

Room has bed, cupboards, table for each resident. Our hostel has lifts too. Washrooms have geysers. Meal is one of the finest of all iits. Registration process is smooth too. There are 3 people in each room. Girls hostel have closed barriers. There are cafes and cafeteria and canteens everywhere in campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

I took JEE-mains and advance. I had 99.04 percentile in mains and a rank of 3717 in JEE advance. The admission process through JOSAA was smooth. Transparnecy wasn't enough. Application process is smooth done at nta, website. The difficulity is high.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
