All about JNTUH University College of Engineering, Science and Technology

The curriculum is revised for our batch according to National Education Policy 2020. Overall the curriculum is student friendly with both credit and not credit subjects. There are also skill development courses. The faculty is well experienced. The only drawback is that you are loaded with too much of assignments and lab work that restricts us to do extra curricular activities

I am still in 2nd year, working on my skills. Some of my batchmates got internships via various whatsapp groups and coding club. For my senior batches if someone is placed in a company, he/she gets palcement in that compant easily

The placements start in 3rd year 2 semester. Many companies visits majourity tech companies. Oracle, Accenture, TCS, Wipro are some famous companies. They provide package starting from 3.5 lakhs which generaly goes upto 15 lakhs average.

The tution fee for first year was around 58,000 rupees. The second year tution fee is around 53,000 rupees. The fee for the last batch was 10000 less than ours, but the hike was made after many years. There are no such extra charges. I am getting scholarship from AICTE.

There is a 2 week induction program for the 1st year students as soon as college starts. The faculty and seniors guide you for future activities. There is freshers party for 1st year students. There is annual fest in April. The library is huge containg about 1 lakh books covering almost each topic. There are projectors in class, computer labs in each department. There is a ground, indoor stadium with gym and swimming pool

The hostels are available with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ass such is not great. They provide chicken two times a week and eggs 3 times. There is problem if you are vegetarian. The hostel is affordable and monthly bill is around 2000 to 3000 depending on the costs

I passed my 12th class with 95% from JKBOSE. I opted for both Mathematics and Biology. I attempted for NEET year 2021. I was not able to get good marks, So I dropped for a year to again give NEET, but was again unsuccessful to clear it. So I got admission throguh AICTE in JNTUH college of engineering, Hyderabad in B.tech CSE
