Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness was good. According to the new CBME curriculum we have to attend clinics and get chance to interact with real patients suffering from a disease.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1535346 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure comprises of everything including hostel fees. For 1st year the fee is 1535346 and for rest years it is 1489946 each and for last 6 months it is 745347. The tuition fees are approx 1100000 per year and hostel fees are 60000 per year

Campus Life

The infrastructure provided is average. It has all the departments that is pre clinical and clinical departments. It has playgrounds and indoor halls for sports. Auditorium for annual functions and annual fest. All types of sports materials are available in the sports room.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are good . The facilities provided in the room are light, fans, beds, chairs etc. The meal quality is good and menu consist of rice, roti, dal, chicken, eggs, fish and mixed veg. Registration process for hostel is swift and is easily done.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The admission process was through counselling The application process was through NEET UG and cut off for UR category was 426 For SC category cut off was 270 For ST category cut off was 130 The admission process was very long and cumbersome

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

Remarks:

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital,there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.

The overall admission process is good cut off marks for TMC during my time was 466 last mark for general category, so there are 100 seats out of which 41 seats are for general category and rest were for sc and ST , difficulty level of neet UG in 2021 was average and high scoring too. Application forms are available in the DME website by the tripura government where candidates can apply for admission. Words by a sensible medico.

The student has to qualify NEET. The cutoff changes every year. For ST in my time the admission ended with 150/180 marks in NEET. Had to apply in state medical council.
