Story of an introverted Welingkarite

I have opted for Pgdm E-business program of Welingkar Institute and it is quite relevant to what I'm interested in. I have done my bachelor's in commerce but I always had a inclination towards technology that's why I opted for this program, in this course I'm learning technologies that are useful for the corporate world and these technologies have a real world applications in business. Pne more thing that this course can have is that they can provide students a hands-on experience by making them work on live projects with industries that will provide students the real application of tools and techniques in the business world. The exam pattern is designed in a way that test both the theoretical and practical knowledge of the students. So overall this course is quite relevant for me.

Currently tution fees is 14 lakhs for 2 years of a program, the fees rise mostly after 2-3 years on the basis of market conditions. The institute provides fee waiver to the students who falls under the category of low level income. My total tution fees is 14 lakhs for 2 years which I have to submit in four installments and also I have opted for college hostel so that costs me 175,000 per year. These are the charges levied by the college and no additional fees are required for exams or other amenities and facilities in hostel. The college provides placements tp the students both summer internship and executive placement are provided by the college itself. Different companies come in the college and all the students get chance to sit in the placement process as oer their specialisation interest like finance, marketing, operations, HR.

My campus experience was not so good in the starting months, because I'm an introverted kind of person and I take time to get involved with people so im the start it was very difficult for me to actually enjoy the college life, but by time I have made so many friends and also I have started participating un different activities and events that is both enjoyable and full of learnings. The college has its own library where I can get a lot of options to read. Hackathon is one of the technical event that the college organised each year. Also each and every festival is celebrated here. Also WeBiz the annual college fest is going to happen in March. Recently the sports club has conducted Runbhoomi that is annual sports festival, in which players from each program has competed with eachother. And overall the facilities are quite good here.

I have given CAT entrance exam in November 2022, and I applied for the institute on the basis of my CAT score, I applied for Welingkar Mumbai through their website, on the website all the details are present about application fees and application date, there is no reservation benefits available for this institute, the admission is totally based on merit. The cut off is above 75%ile in CAT exam, so I got shortlisted first on the basis of my CAT score and then admission process was conducted that included group discussion and personal interview.
