Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

MBBS is one of the toughest course with huge unending syllabus which also includes clinical postings in hospital. The charm of being a doctor and taking the responsibility of society attracts me towards this course. Hard work during mbbs prepare a medical student for upcoming challenges which he/she gonna face on ground with his/her patients. Improvement in teaching methods and steps to reduce toxicity in medicine culture should be done. Every year after end of sessions professional exams are conducted by University other than this internal examination are also taken by college whose marks are also added in final professional exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is a mandatory internship, which has to be done by all the students after final year. There is no private company it's actually government who gives us internship opportunity. Stipend of intern doctor is less nearly 10k monthly which is nearly same all over India

Placement Experience

4

We have no such things known as placements. We have service bond in uttar Pradesh of two years, every student have to do government service for atleast 2 years. It's salary package is decided by state government. After doing that 2 service one could continue that job or could go for post graduation courses, Which also have stipend of nearly 85k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of college is very good and stable. As it a state government medical College it's fee is very nominal, could be affordable by everyone other than those private medical colleges which is in corores. State and central government also provides scholarships to students nearly 30000 for general/OBC and 60000 for SC/ST. Annual fee for general category student is 23,500 and for other categories 17,500

Campus Life

3

Mbbs students generally don't involve too much in extra curricular activities as their is so much burdain of studies with wide syllabus and attendence issues but hostel Life is very amazing. Our campus is Asia's largest medical campus with academic block, Hospital, stadium, guest house, hostels and with very eco-friendly environment. Our college library is available for 24 hrs which includes all the books related to medical education. Our college has sports clubs and teams which includes cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton etc. Other than this we have cultural society includes music, dance, fashion, painting, drama ets. Our college organize fest every year which is called srijan around March April.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Everyone have hostel facility in campus with nominal price of 6000 rs per annum. For food we have private mess and tiffin services too. Everyone is free to opt what he/she wants. Mess charge almost 3000 per annum. Quality is meal is also good and also have non veg options. One could register him/her for hostel after taking admission and submission of college fee.

Admission

The admission process involves a entrance exam called as national elegibility entrance test (NEET) which is conducted by national testing agency (NTA). Eligibility for this course is one should opt PCB/PCMB in class 12th. The minimum score should be more than 50% in physics, chemistry, biology and English. Neet has been conducted by NTA once in every for MBBS sets all over India. 85% seats are reserved for state quota and 15% for All India qouta other than this reservation are also based on categories 27% OBC, 10% EWS, 15% SC and 7.5% ST. Area of improvement in admission process is distribution of MBBS seats state wise which vary greatly which affects State wise cutoff

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a most valuable course and it requires full dedication because there is no scope for mistakes in this profession. Faculties were highly educated and there are 7-8 teachers in each department and the class strength is 150. There are 2 term exams in a year and these are decently difficult because this profession needs full dedication so you need to know each and everything

Placement Experience:

The hospital of Rama medical college has a good patient count because it is near the highway so this makes a good deal. There are many colleges ahead but they don't have this much patient count and the clinical posting starts for the 2nd year and buying a good patient count you can have a lot of experience and experience matter the most in the medical field. The internship starts when you pass the last 4yr for your mbbs college.

Remarks:

The College is okay, for the students who focus on studies. They can easily glide through the test without worrying about anything else. The only problem is the college being so far from the city with just a highway in front of it. The nearest town is Ghaziabad which is ½ hour away. Can be easily reached by tempo or bus which frequents the hospital.
