Likes

The campus life and environment it provides, the opportunity we get and the exposure is unmatched
The faculty is as usual as present in a college but they have vast experience and they help alot during the course of the semester
The club events and technical fest provide a revival during the semester and various other fun activities happen which are very important in a college

Dislikes

The course is sometimes very hectic and it's harder to manage everything
The time is constrained between the usual lecture and not frequent breaks are available except weekends
The exam occurs without a break and in a single week that brings quite a toll on the mindset.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for electrical engineering consists of topics like power generation and transmission and various other network theories. Various projects and internship opportunities are given for exposure to the real corporate scenario

Interships are available is third semester and various big companies arrive for internship drives as Google, jp morgen and others , after internship we can also get placed in the same company and the price pay of internship is quite good

Placement Experience

Placements are very good for each course, average placements lies around 15 lacs for electrical engineering and 20 for computer science, various big companies like Google Microsoft, cognizant, l&t etc come for placement drives

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 62500 per semester and institute fee is also added around 20000 but fee remission is available for ecomically backwards students. The average lies around 120000 per year for a student in 1-5 lac income category.

Campus Life

The campus is quite large and various technical and cultural events happen during the course of the year. The technical fest is sphinx and cultural fest is blitzsclag. Various small events also happen like youth fest and various club events and guest talks do occur

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is 3 seater in the first year and then single seater, facilities provided are decent and hygiene is maintained in the washroom and hostel rooms, food quality is decent with variety of meals.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

The admission process was with JEE-mains and the cutoff is generally 98.5+ percentile for general candidates, the reservation is applicable for ews in seats and economical benefits for various income categories like below one lac and between 1-5 lac. The exams are conducted twice per semester namely mid sem and end semester exam. The difficulty is medium and can be easily done even at end moments.

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

Life at MNIT Jaipur

MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. The admission process is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling—cutoffs for CSE are usually under 10,000 AIR, while other branches have higher cutoffs. Adventurous Journey

MNIT is among the best NITs of Northern India further it possesses a highly strong mechanical in civil departments which is regarded to be the strongest one after IIT Roorkee in Northern India to be admitted into MNIT you need to clear JEE Mains examination with a minimum 97% tile for the general category further than you need to apply for JOSAA and C-SAB consuelling to admit into MNIT. I have also taken admission in NIT Allahabad mechanical engineering but I wasn't able to get it since that closed 1000 above my rank, it is mentioned that they have a very good mechanical department as well. MNIT Jaipur also had had a great infrastructure to look out and also give frequent industrial visits to enhance practical knowledge....Read More

I applied for this based on nirf rankings and actually I was wishing to get this college, I was trying for nit Rourkela, nit Trichy but because of my ranking i wasn't able to get a seat in those colleges and as in my choice filling after those 2 colleges , I had filled mnit Jaipur as 3rd preference and my rank was good enough to secure a seat in this college Admission process is to write jee barch exam and apply for josaa counselling by filling your choices and wait for rounds to get your seat , once you get any seat in choices you'll be allowed to accept that seat or freeze that seat and move to next round for better college in your choices...Read More
