There are some good subjects like corporate finance and taxation which provides practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the college curriculum 6 out of 10 as there are some subjects which is useless and boring and provide no value like behavourial economics while some subject are really good like corporate finance and taxatiom which gives you practical knowledge.

Class Size: 280Course Fees: INR 630000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fee is approx 2 lakh and the course duration is three years. Cybage Khushboo scholarship is available but it is only provided to person who need it financially and who have done decent in academics.

Campus Life

Campus life at SSE is below average as there is no sports facility and there are very few events occurring on campus so the overall campus life of SSE is not good. There are various clubs and committees present but they didn't do any work.

Admission

I gave a Symbiosis entrance test to get into the Symbiosis School of Economics. It was an easy test where you don't need any separate course for preparation. I took this exam online. After that one topic is given and we have to write on that topic. After getting selected in this round there is one personal interview round and after a few weeks list will be out

Interview Experience

Topics for a personal interview are general topics and not related to any particular course just be thorough with the current affairs and interview questions are general like the introduction, why SSE, then something releated to economics and maths like slope equation formula and fiscal deficit etc.

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

The course is an integrated MSc and the Institute is funded by the both university of Mumbai and the department of atomic energy. Student: teacher ratio is so much satisfactory, each professor knows each student. The professors are mainly visiting professors from IIT Bombay, barc, tifr etc institutes.

I chose SSE over JGU without a doubt and have no regrets about the same. The course in JGU was new and interesting. I quite liked it but personally economics and "Symbiosis" appealed more to me.
