Course Curriculum Overview

The course at JAGSoM is rigrous and strictly adheres to the belief saying 'Learning by Doing'. JAGSoM follows T shaped curriculum which says that students have to pursue all core courses across all fields in first 2 terms and thereafter follow career track based on their specialisation.

Class Size: 280Course Fees: INR 1490000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Industry Internship Programme(IIP) is the internship programme which all the students have to undergo as per the curriculum. JAGSoM provides all the eligible students to sit for interviews for Internships. The internships start in month of October till January.

Placement Experience

College provides placemnets opportunities to students. 100% of eligible students do get placed. Final placements in the campus usually starts in the month of February post the internship which starts in the month of October for a period of 4 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my batch 2023-25 was 14.9 L however, for the current batch 2024-26 it is 15.95 L. Its and entire package which includes boarding and lodging as well. The scholarships are available to students who qualify the given criteria in JAGMAT and maintain the CGPA throughout their terms.

Campus Life

Life at JAGSoM is good considering the location of the institute and hostel. It is located in prime location of Electrionic city surrounded by many corporates majorly Infosys. The hostel campus is about 3 km away from college with regular bus service facility provided by college with no extra charge. The hostel has a huge campus with lot of plantations and huge ground.

Admission

The admission process started after I registered for admission at JAGSoM based on my XAT. The process was a single day process which comprised of following stages: JAGMAT (Aptitutde test by JAGSoM) Group Exercise PI -1 (Panel Interview) PI - 2 (Shoulder Panel Interview - students of current batch)

Interview Experience

Yes. The admission selection process(ASP) at JAGSoM did include Group exercise. The initail round was JAGMAT which is an online aptitude test. The last 2 rounds consisted of Panel interview and shoulder panel interview. The shoulder panel had students from current batch who interviewed.

My brief experience as a MBA student at IZee Business School, Bangalore

Placement Experience:

From third semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. College itself provides internships for students also helping them to cop up with their studies. Companies visited are, Cafe Coffee Day, Cothas coffee, Infosys, Biocon, HCL tech. Highest package they provided is 14 Lakhs and average is 6.5 lakhs. 90% students get placed, 5% students have their own family business and other 5% students start their own business. My plan after getting my degree is to get into one of BIG FIVEs, earn money, build connections for atleast a decade and than start my own business.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus placements from around the 4th trimester (2nd year) onwards. The college placement cell is very efficient and super helpful in providing placement opportunities to the students and always aid them. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Airtel, Nykaa, Wipro, Bosch etc. The average package is around 8 LPA and the highest package offered so far has been 16 LPA. There is nearly 100% placement from the college.

A Solid Choice for Industry-Ready Graduates.

For two year PGDM programs, there are various eligibility criterias like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT and JAGMAT. JAGMAT ia a requirement at the time of selection process. The application form, fees and the dates are provided in the website. JAGMAT is an aptitude test which comprises of 3 sections- 1)English Language proficiency 2) Quantitative aptitude 3) Logical reasoning The total marks is 75 and each section will be of 25 marks. the duration of the test is 90 minutes. Then the next is GE which is the group exercise.
