My College life!

1) very large campus covered with greenery. 2) a big ground for playing basketball, volleyball, cricket, football etc., and also one indoor stadium. 3) Top notch faculty mostly from IITs 4) banking facilities are available. 5)Few other time passing zones like cafeteria, library, lawns etc. 6) GITAM medical college for any health related issues.

First of all one should complete there intermediate with MPC as their stream and should have scored 60 in main courses. For getting a seat in GITAM one should write GAT exam which is conducted by the college authority or you can buy a seat under management quota . I scored around 100 which ranked me in 7000. This score is pretty enough to choose any of the required branch which you might like.

I don't know about every branche but I can prompt you with the basic course curriculum which goes somewhat like this: 1) In a particular semester one may have 5 to 7 subjects. 2) In each subject one will have 5 chapters. Apart from this in each semester you will have 2 to 3 labs.

No they won't provide any internship. But as per the 3rd academic year in 5th semester one has to have an experience in any internships of their choice.

Good number of placements are done every year but the quality and the type of placements are very less. Well the placements offered by the colleges are from software field so those who are really eager to get into their dream core jobs other than IT for them this is not place so check yourself before getting into this college.

There are a lot of events and fests which are conducted in the college , some are 1)technical like IEEE, IETE, IKAR, etc 2) cultural : GUSAC carnival, GEM fest, Kalakruti fest etc 3) Few are conducted by management during new year, independence day etc.

The fee structure is heavily expensive for a middle class person as the fee increases exponentially on year wise and the quality of education is normal which one can get it from other colleges too. And as the placements are concerned , the type of placements are of common companies which usually goes to most of the colleges.

Yeah college provides scholarship to the needful with a good academic score. This scholarship can be availed semester wise so one can avail it twice a year based on the merit and eligibility.

Male: Female = 70:30 Extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS, line follower competition, elocution, speech , debates, Hare Krishna movement (ISKON) , flash mobs , painting competition etc. Sports: High jump, long jump, short put, race 100m,400m, 800m, Discus throw, relay race etc.

Overall the hostel facilities are good but there's no facilities provided for parents and they have to pay for the meals even if it is their first time which can be improved.

Well there is very less to say about alumni as there are people from this college who got placed into many big companies and some are in very higher position . They are really helpful in bringing their companies for the college placements.

1. In an academic year we have 2 semesters. 2. In each semester we have 3 mid term exams among which best 2 are choose. 3. Lab exams are conducted by the end of the semester exam. Overally one can have a balance of both fun and study time.

After getting a good score in GAT , attend the counselling as per your counselling date and time slot given to you. Please ensure that you have all the necessary documents for registering a seat. You will also have to pay counselling fee which is non refundable along with the college tuition fee (it is a one time payment for that particular year). As the fee particulars changes from year to year always look into the details before attending the counselling.

As for the faculty is concerned most of them are very good, helpful and experienced in their relevant fields. It depends on the students on how much he wants to gain the knowledge from that particular faculty.
