Likes

the campus was large and lively, with lots of activity. this created a strong sense of community and it was easy to meet new people
piet offered a decent range of engineering specializations. allowing me to find something that aligned with my interests.
some courses did involve hands on projects, which offered practical and made learning more engaging

Dislikes

far too much of the focus was on memorizing concepts rather than critical thinking and problem solving.
some of the laboratory equipment and software felt outdated
while placements were possible, it often felt like a numbers game for getting any job

tution fees is high complete cost of education : 125000 all scholarship available in college academic marks linked extracircular acheivements campus employment job types: roles include library assistants, lab helpers,working in the mess hall, administrative work etc.

Campus Life

festival fever: parul university seems to ahve a vibrant cultral calander with several festivals celebrated throughout the year, this includes annual fests along with technical events releate to differents department. clubs and socities: not so good diversity: with parul being an inetrnational university, the student body represents a wide range of backgrounds. library: libraray is good

Hostel Facilities

separate boys and girls hostel: parul university has separate, well maintained hostel blocks for male and female students. room options: rooms are available in a varity of configurations, such as double, triple, or four sharing and many more

My College Admission Experience overall, my college admission process was fairly straightforward,though aspects could definitly be improved. Here's a breakdown of what I went through: Eligibility & Application > Course Eligibility: the basic eligibility for the program i applied to was completing my 12th grade exams with decent scores. Some courses might have specifc subject requirements, like having studied math upto grade 12 for a math related degree. > Finding the Form: The application form was available on the college website. The website also clearly listed application fees and the start and end date of the appliction window. The entrance exam for entrance i didn't given entrance exam because college have direct admission process Areas for Improvement > clarity on process: the information on the entire process could be better organized upfront. > Standardized Exam: instead of college specific entrance exams, it could be preferable to rely on a single.

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple. They brief you about the fee structure for the course that you want to take on your first visit and give you a campus tour.
