Remarks

College management is perfect we have only less holidays/leave for going home.

Entrance Preview

Entrance is based on purely merit JEE MAINS and CBSE Board marks are taken into consideration for stream one and only higher secondary board marks for stream two this was the best college with best faculty, good alumna records and awesome infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Sastra has Hi-Tech Research centers within college campus as I am First year student, I did not attend it yet.

Internships Opportunities

Yes we have internship training programs at 3rd and final year.

Placement Experience

Almost 80-90% of the students get placed there are more than 100 companies who come forward.

Fee Structure And Facilities

SASTRA is the only college in south India to collect a fee on 1.4 Lakh per year the hostel facilities are awesome mess food is good hostel Fee= 8000/year, Mess= 2500/month.

Students can avail loan if their parents annual income is less than 4.5 Lakhs.

Campus Life

Gender Ratio is Equal in SASTRA extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions are very good, there are various clubs like robotics, aerospace, maths, etc.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Lifestyle of sastra

“SASTRA: Strict but Worth It”

had applied to a few reputed universities like VIT, SRM, and Amrita along with SASTRA. I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment. VIT and SRM had flashier campuses and more events, but their fees were almost double, so SASTRA felt like the smarter choice.
