Likes

Faculty are too good and their teaching is also good
The fests here are really awesome and famtastic that you'll not be able to stop yourself from participating in that
The culture here is very diverse and the people here are really sweet

Dislikes

The sunny weather makes you sweaty and tiresome for the entire day
The buildings are located far away and you have to walk in scorching heay to attend the classes
The attendence system is a bit old it could be bit newer one

The Professors are good but the thing is you should also be cooperative with them and then you should also try to learn something new from them yes the teaching technique is bit old but yeah you'll find some best professors who will guide you at every step l so be nice to all the professors

I don't know about the internships offered by the college as I am in the forst year and according to the faculty and seniors you get amazing internship offers at srm and if you are good in your studies and have nice grades then you can even get an internship and job offer at FAANG companies

Placement Experience

I actually don't know how the placements are because I am still in first year and I've heard from the seniors that is going on fine and the average packages for this hear have gone up to 6 to 7 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for the course that I am studying is 4 lakhs per annum which is a bit high and apart from that you have to pay the end semester examination fee all by yourself and of you are under the merit list I.e. from 1 to 10 then congrats you don't even have to pay a penny from your pocket and those who are above the rank 10 they should pay the given amount

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty good here at srm you will be able to meet people with different cultures and from all over the world. There are two big fests that happen at srm every year one of them is AARUSH and other is MILAN here you will get to meet even the company people as well

Admission

Initially we have to register on the srm official portal for SRMJEEE(SRM official exam for engineering) and pay Rs. 1200 as the exam fee and then we can choose the slot of our examination and then proceed with that exam. Them once the results are out you can proceed with the counselling and then opt your course and submit it once you have selected the course then wait for the results to he announced if you have cleared the cut off then you will officially recieve a PAL(Provisional Admission Letter) and then you have to pay the fees and then you are officially a student of SRMIST

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
