Quite happening life , the intake of students is from various parts if india so get a lot of exposer
Many clubs and NCC present , get a lot of exposure

Dislikes

Very hectic college life 8-5 college one day of a week
Very expensive hostels and not so good whether
Is very much far from the chennai city , so not so city exposure

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is CSE Software engineering , I wanted to specialise in Software engineering so I choose this The curriculum is not so good , there are many subjects which are of no relivance in future , like biology and philosophy in engineering The exams are quite frequent , in every 20 days you will be having examination of one or another subject

Right now I don't have as so exposure about the internship ideas because I am right now in 2nd sem so , sorry won't be able to help you about it. But I would recommend you to see all details at srm college website

Placement Experience

The highest and average package offered during SRM Institute of Science and Technology placements 2024 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 9.04 LPA, respectively. See there are many types of scholarships like defence scholarship, rank scholarship and many more , for scholarship you should visit the SRM college own website, The main thing about semester exams is that you have to give a compulsory examination fees which is around 3.5k

The college life here is quite happening, here a quite of opportunities, there are numerous clubs , tech clubs , codding clubs, cultural clubs , drama clubs , The very famous fest of SRM is Milan, and here are 2 main ground for you physical where you can play

Hostel Facilities

Here are quite many options for hostel , there are AC -NON AC hostels with both attached and common washrooms . The price of hostel depend upon the type of hostel you select , as such the hostels are not at all good , here you have 3 shairing AC with attached washroom to 5 sharing non AC common washroom the price varies between 120000to 240000

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

Minimum 65% aggregate in PCM , Have to apply in srm college portal 3 phases are conducted , but apply in phase 1,2 if you want cse The things which should be improved in selection process are that all 3 phases selection seat should be equally divided

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
