Brahmotsav Fest which is the biggest Fest of the college.

Laboratories are not well equipped as it should be.
Library does have a lot of books but most of then are old and outdated

Course Curriculum Overview

As i am Tech head type of student, I like to work with computers and electronic components so chose computer engineering as my becholar degree. There are two main exam in our college curriculum which are insem and endsem in which insem is moderately difficult but endsem which also the final exam of the semester is highly difficult

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 45630 per year

Placement Experience

Placement of this college is the weakest side of the college. as the average placement of the college is 250000 last year and highest package given to a student was around 800000. Mostly local companies visit our college for placement drives.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is dependent on reservation of the students. If you are a general category student your fees will be 88000-92000. I have EWS category reservation so my total fees is 45630. there are few scholarship which are only applicable for certain category students.

Campus Life

Campus life of this college is one of the weakest part of this college. As there are very few students attending college and also very few of them attend there college regularly so the overall environment of this college is not that great.

Admission

I took admission in this college through the entrance exam called MHT-CET and Counselling of MHT CET itself. This college was alloted to through CAP rounds in the 2nd round. Taking admission is comparatively easier than other colleges as mht cet cut off for this college is quite low, you can take admission in this college if you 50-60% in MHT CET.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

College only for Degree, bad campus life

i took admission in this college through the entrance exam MHT CET . after scoring required percentile for this college i took the cap rounds in which i got this college. there i not that much high cutoff for this college as it is near 60-62 percentile therefore, it is not that hard to take admission in this college. there scholarships for reservation for all the categories. admission staff sould support the students through out the process and give the required information as most of the students were confused during the process...Read More

Good only for taking a degree

If you need to take admission in this college you need to have a average MHT CET score this college does not have high cut off I took admission through CAP rounds, for it was easier to take admission in this college dur to cap rounds. The admission process in this institute is very straightforward we don't get any difficulties in admission.
