Review on my college

Frankly speaking, the management here is not good. So I'd request you to kindly visit the campus premises and then decide whether or not to study here. Thank You.

I didn't take any examination to get admitted to this college. It was actually a direct admission. I consulted a consultancy for better education in B.Tech (Civil Engineering). So, by this process, I got admitted here.

The college I am studying is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. There are total 8 semesters which is completed in 4 years. The curriculm is not much complicated. There are atleast 5-6 subjects in each semester. If you study well you van easily clear all subjects but you must prepare very well because its KUK.

NO. A straight no. After studying for a full 1 year and experiences shared by our seniors, the internship provided here is ZERO.

Regarding placement and job opportunities this college is still zero. As stated by a senior, few years ago Indian Navy came to provide placement here. But I'm not sure because I had heard it from our seniors. And even if companies come, they are small companies with a very small packages with not more than 15K - 20K per month. Though being a Kurukshetra University graduate, students here find difficulties in finding a job.

The only event celebrated in my college is Fresher's Party for the new comers every year. Sometimes sports meet is conducted by the management. Extra-curricular activities is equal to zero here. I was quite disappointed after I came to know about these bad part of the college. Although the participation in sports meet is quite good. But the quality of games still lack a lot.

The fee structure is not that high as compared to the facilities provided by the management. And yes, if you get admitted to this college, I hope you pay the fees regularly or else you might not be able to give you final exams. The maximum amount I guess is INR 150000 per year which includes college fees, fooding and accommodation.

Yes, there is a scholarship for girls under "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign. Under this campaign only girls are provided scholarships. No loan facility is available here.

Here, in my college boys are more than the girls. Here, there area total of 5 courses available i.e. B.Tech, Diploma, BBA, MBA and DMLT. One plus point here is, ragging is zero. And if someone found doing so, they are permanently suspended from the college. And yes, if you're finding a better labs please stay away from this college.

The hostel here is nice. The rooms are perfect in side. There is a bed, an almirah, a table and a chair. You have to buy the mattresses and pillow youself. They're not provided by the college. There are ac rooms, attached bathrooms, etc according to your choice. Water facilities is available 24hrs but I'm not sure about the electricity. And now, I'm going to talk about mess which is worst. Sometimes the food is so worst that you can't even take it in. The fees for AC+attached bathroom is INR 60K per year. Similarly for just AC room it's INR 55K per year and for normal room it's INR 50K per year.

Seniors has always been an inspiration for me. They have helped me with a lot of stuffs here. They were kind hearted always ready to help their juniors except some.

Internal exams are conducted twice in a semester. A 2 hours exam is conducted i.e. for 50 marks. Speaking seriously only 10% are interested in these exams while others just make their attendence and leave the examination hall. The exam taken by the University is quite strict. One cannot think of cheating in the exam conducted by the University.

I completed my +2 and started searching for engineering colleges. I consulted different peoples. I attended seminars, education fair and many more. Later on I visited few consultancy. Then I came to know about this college. They suggested me this college. Then I decided to study here. I packed my bags and went to the college. The admission process was easy. I was directly admitted to this college without any problem.

To be honest, teachers here aren't much qualified. I'm saddened by the poor management here. During my visit to the consultancy, I was told various positive things about the college. But after getting admitted here, I came to know that they all lied to me. Various other things are not upto the mark. Many thingngs need to be reconstructed here. Each and every student must be given equal priority.
