Remarks

This college is one the best engineering colleges. The education provided is quality education. Here students are trained in such a way that they can face the future challenges. The college Director and the college staff is personal very possessive in order to students entire educational development.

Entrance Preview

I have appeared for JEE 2014. I scored 36 in exam. I have selected this college because college has prestigious educational background. This college is best option for engineering students who are seeking to take admission in Marathwada region.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated to Dr Babasaheb Technical University Loner. It provides UG and PG course. The UG course for Engineering is Bachelor Of Engineering(B.Tech). It provides engineering branch options Civil, Computer, Mechanical, Electronic and Telecommunication.

Internships Opportunities

College not provide internship. But it helps a student to get internship. Thank college has its own Intershala Student Partner ISP who helps students to get best internship. College provide all essential facility and support to get students their best internship. Stipend is given by responsible faculty providing internship.

Placement Experience

The placement percentage of college is very good compare to other Engineering colleges. College has placement office at Pune. Companies like Deshat, Flipkart, Amazon, TCS, ValueD have organised the campus drives and selected many students. The Director and the PTO of college are doing very good job in order to get students place.

College Events

The college is organising the annual cultural fest called Quasars. It provides the platform for college students to show their skills and perform on stage. College also helps many student interactive programs. College organises Expert Talk, Seminar etc

College fees is defined by as the rule and regulations defined by Directorate of Technical Education Mumbai. Fees structure is feasible and defined by DTE fees structure for academic year. You can find it on college website or DTE website. There are fees structure for OBC, NT, SC ST students.

College offers scholarship for the students of OBC SC/ST NT category. College provide all GOI, Minority scholarship. College provide loan facility to student who are financial week.

A organization has very impressive historic background. This organisation is one of oldest educational organisation in maharashtra. College has extra curricular activities like Annual fest, Mentor Mente program, RoboRace, Annual Gathering etc. The gender ratio of college is equal to both. The college has very educational environment.

Hostel Facilities

The organization has both girls and boys hostel. The hostel facility provided is very feasible and impressive. The girls hostel is very impressive infrastructure and fees structure. All facilities like security, quite environment etc are very impressive. Hostel staff is very coperative and friendly.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has very best alumni. There is Anti-Raging department. And the college director ia the Head of that department. College has various clubs like cycling, reading, coding club, nature's club etc. All this club are run by college students.

Exam Structure

The college has very rich and ecofriendly infrastructure. The college is equipped with various lab like IOS development lab, Project Lab, Workshop etc. All lab are Air conditioned. All computer lab are well equipped with computer and internet facility. The college has its own cloud storage and firewall.

Admission

I got admission in college through the CAP process. Each year DTE maharashtra organises admission round for Engineering Admission. This college is ARC center for Engineering Admission. Faculty

The college staff is very impressive and educated. All professor are well qualified and PG holder. The college staff is known for quality education and strict environment. The office staff and college faculty is very coperative and it make college environment comfortable for studying.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Likes

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

I chosed this college coz it has a very good reputation . Lectures are conducted regulary there is nothing like off lectures here. If a professor is unavailable some other professors is scheduled to take the class , the class is never cancelled .
