I choosed that course because it's trending course. And tha faculty or teaching staff are well defined and highly educated professor are also available in our college. PhD holder professor teach us or many students. There is two mid term exam fro the evaluation of students.

campus are good in a campus there is most of the student are placed based on the average package they accept the offer and highest package of the campus is 11lpa for btech computer science student achived this package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for BTECH(Computer Science Engineering) is 3,5000 4year course fees. There are several scholarship PMS , Percentage based scholarship and the reservation based scholarship are available in our college.

Campus Life

campus envirnment is very good and there is on the basis of monthly yearly diiferent fest and tech event are perfromed.and most of them are performed on annual functions and farewell party are also organised by the college for new student.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility is very good and the hostel facility provided to the new admissioned student so that they can easily stay in a hostel and this type of benefits provided to the long distance student . beneficial for student.

Admission

Anyone can easily apply. There is no minimum eligibility criteria and the PMS post metric scholarship are also available for SC/ST students. So this college is a good for SC/ST students and there are some seat are reserved

Life at CGC Landran

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak.That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.

I choose my college over other coz i heard that there is the better environment than others. specially for the freshers that came to our college there is no concept of ragging and bully which is the major point. Apart from this as in other colleges teacher didnt take pain for the syllabus as well as if the students is present or not but in out college all the faculty memebers are fully responsible.
