Odisha University of Technology And Research Bhubaneswar (Formerly College of engineering and technology)

It is one of the Best State government College in the Odisha. So I took admission in Electrical Engineering as the faculty of my Branch are highly qualified most of them have done PhD from IITs and some Professor even done their PhD from Foreign Universities. The student teacher ratio is approximately 1:20. AS you know like other universities we have also two exam in a year and marking system is quite strict in my college.

Mostly companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, L&T, Accenture, Tata Power, MSIL are coming to our College. Most of the students are going to NTPC, DRDO , SAIL for their intership and also go to some private companies.

Our College provide decent placement. 90% of the student got placed this year on an Average package of 5.5LPA . Basically from 7th semester students are eligible for placement. And Some students are also opted for higher studies and government jobs

Basically We have to pay 32400 as a tution fees for a year and hostel fees is approximately 20000 per semester. College provide OUTR merit scholarship to top 10% of the student per year. Approximately 90% of the students got placed in the year of 2022-2023

Our college conducts different fest annually Like anual cultural fest is XTACY and technical fest is Perception and Engineers Cup for Sports. We have different clubs in our college like social, technical and Cultural clubs

We have 3 hostels for boys and 2 hostel for girls. Bhubaneswar and Cuttack students don't get any hostel. In boy's hostel lunch and Dinner provided where in girl's hostel breakfast also provided. There are many Private pg are Also present near our college many students are Also stay there

First you have to score 60% minimum in your 12th Board exam and then you have to give JEE mains on the basis of the JEE score you have to again Apply for ojee Councelling through which you will get a seat in Odisha University of Technology And Research, Bhubaneswar. Like other government institutions you also getting Reservation for SC, ST, EWS and PWD .
