Course Curriculum Overview
The course is hectic, with a curriculum filled with subjects of varied fields. First-year holds generic courses, while the second year provides an opportunity to choose majors in the field of brand management/ media/ data science. The college holds a good faculty: student ratio with multiple visiting and permanent faculties. Faculties are majorly Ph.D. holders and industry professionals with vast experience of working in various industries. Exams happen regularly with mid-sem and end-sem examinations. A thorough knowledge of the subjects is required to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
I worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern in one of the country's leading outdoor advertising agencies. The stipend offered was decent, with a great work culture. The work was relevant to the topics taught in the college. Leading companies and brands visited the campus for placements.
Placement Experience
The college establishes 100% Summer and Final placements every year. Leading companies visit campus and recruit students regularly. Roles revolve around marketing and related functions. There are ample opportunities for every student, and after joining the college, one should be assured of getting a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Fees are comparable with the top B-Schools in the country. The hostel and mess expenses are justified with the services offered. Scholarships are also provided to students with weak financial backgrounds. The college offers great placement opportunities with.a vast network of Alumni and Industry leaders. The average final package of the college stays around 20 LPA.
Campus Life
Life at campus with amazing, with multiple student-run committees and fests happening throughout the year. Hostels provide all the basic amenities, and the food in the mess is also pretty good. The college also offers a world-class library that provides not only books and journals but also subscriptions to leading research publishers. The college also provides infrastructure to major sports and outdoor activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are great on campus, although ACs are not there in the hostels. First-year students get a double-sharing room, while second-year students are allocated single-occupancy rooms. Cleanliness is well-maintained in every hostel. Meal quality is good with changing menus, and the menu also includes some international cuisines as well. Hostels are a must to live the experience and enjoy events happening on college.
Admission
To avail admission, giving the CAT/XAT is necessary, which is followed by giving MICAT exam. 90 percentile is a good score in CAT while scores in MICAT can vary in a wide range. Exams are followed by a Group Exercise and Personal Interview round. The final merit list is formed after a total evaluation of all the factors involved in the admission process.
Interview Experience
The syllabus for the MICAT exam was aligned with the syllabus for the CAT exam, so it didn't require any extra effort. Attempting a few mocks should be sufficient. The GD round is a Group Exercise round where a task is assigned to a group, and the candidate's ability to work in a group is evaluated. Interviews are chill and no pressure is put on candidates.
