What Students Say
Likes
- I liked my college plantation & greenry, Playgrounds, Located in the Heart of the city
- I Enjoyed the company of my friends in the college and we spent a good time there
- I want to thank few of the teachers as well and after completing my degree
Dislikes
- I didn't like any placement support from the college/University and faculty staff as well.
- I also didn't like the teaching methods as well because it was not practical as at all
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the BCA because I found it attractive where I can have more opportunities in terms of the career options. Teacher & Student ratio was 1:30. Qualification of the faculty was quite impressive but teaching method was more traditional and theoritical. Exams were conducted twice a yr and yes it was very difficult to pass the examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure was quite high, MDU Rohtak is the Govt University but I got the admission in a college where BCA was a private course so I paid a huge amount. So basically fee structure was not supportive and no scholership or Financial help was there. No job assistance/Placement provided from the University.
Campus Life
Annual fest were there but fund allocated and provided by the govt never being spent on the facilities related to students. Limited books were available and students didn't have the full access in the library as well. Our college (YMD) has multiple playgrounds and sports related options.
Admission
I have applied online and arranged all the required doc's and submitted into the admissions department, Universities minimum eligibility criteria was 60% and I was eligible for it. Application fee was around rs 700/-. If I want to change anything then I don't like the hectic/unsystematic process which is not student friendly because one has to visit the University/college multiple times istead of filling the forms online and instead of completing all the documentation related formalities on time.
