Remarks

It's a very good campus, facilities, and faculty. Anyone serious about making a future should definitely consider it. Weather-wise sometimes rain or very sunny.

Entrance Preview

I wrote the online MAHE exam for Manipal University for admission into Masters at MCOPS. I got All India Rank 20. I had completed my B Pharm from the same college and wished to pursue my Masters in the same campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into four semesters. The first two semesters have classes, seminars and presentation work with six exams and the third and final semester are for internship and thesis submission. The subjects are well planned and divided through the semesters with each semester having four subjects. All important topics are covered through classes and discussions. Elective options to specialize are also available and can be taken for extra credit points.

Internships Opportunities

The college has companies coming in to recruit for internships. Depending on the company and time duration stipend would be provided. Sometimes it's 10,000 per month. Other summer internships abroad are also organized through student exchange committee in college.

Placement Experience

Placement cell is good and many MNCs come to recruit including Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's Lab, Novo Nordisk, Lupin, Cipla, Himalaya and many more. The packages range from 3 lakh to 7+ lakh depending on position and experience of candidate, location and it her factors.

College Events

Sanskriti college cultural events with singing, dancing, debate, drama, painting, poetry, photography and much more. Athlos is sports events. All the years competing against each other. All games from team games to Athletics are included. Utsav is University cultural happens in April and all colleges take part in it. Genesis happens at the start of new year and included magazine release and introducing college council.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is average fees when compared to placement and facilities. 3lakh per year so total 6lakh for 2 years. The fees have to be payed at start of the year. The mess fees are around 2500 per month and hostel depends on the hostel type. Non attached or sharing are cheaper than single attached

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for Konkani students are available based on merit and scholarship for masters for B Pharm top student is also available. loans from bank connected to University.

Campus Life

Gender is balanced. Many extracurricular are offered both on and off campus. Marena and other gym are available and excellent library facilities. The distribution of gender race, states, and economic background are well balanced. Many workshops about various events are always conducted and students are asked to attend the same .most are free

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are excellent many have reading rooms, lobby, garden area, laundry service, coffee outlets. Mess food is good and affordable and healthy. PGs start from 5,000 and apartments single and sharing are also available near campus for 10,000-18,000 respectively

Alumni/Alumna

Extremely helpful. College is well connected to all alumini and help with advice and placement. And seniors are very helpful and motivating.

Exam Structure

Semester system includes two sessional exams and one University exam. This happens twice a year so a total of six exams. Exams are good and able to keep us on our toes. There can be one to two papers in a day but final exams always have only single paper in a day with one day gap

Admission

After exam, you immediately get online score and then your rank is generated. You will be called for counseling and there are 11 departments, each having 15seats. The department preference is given according to rank and fees should be paid online on day of counseling after selecting department.

Faculty

The teachers are well trained in education and are able to communicate well with the students. Classes involve presentations, blackboard teaching as well as audiovisual use. Textbook reading is encouraged. The teachers are freely available for consultation about any doubts and are willing to help students with extra work such as undertaking research projects etc
