Entrance Preview

SRM University entrance exam. I have cleared and got 1200 rank .In counselling I have opted for computer science and engineering because of good scope in IT sector.

Internships Opportunities

More than 100 companies came for placement and internship. One was amazon that gave 9 lac in the training period and 22 lac after training if you cleared the training test.

For placement and job opportunities SRM University is one of the top university. This type university target is to call more than 100 companies for recruitment. Also 4 mass recruiters recruited approx 6000 students.

College Events

In every semester more than two events were celebrated.In that more than 1000 students participated. So that you can easily show your talent. And also we can organise some events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1,50,000 Rs for b.tech and around 80,000 Rs for hostel. In comparison to other colleges fees is little bit expensive but the facilities provided is too good.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
