Remarks

The good thing is that the college campus, infrastructure and atmosphere is very nice. But in case of education quality and facilities, colllege needs to be improve.

Entrance Preview

My diploma marks are 78%. This marks was considered as a merit and i alloted this college. No any entrance exam and no any interview process. My diploma is in mechanical branch, so i choose mechanical engineering for pursuing my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think, mechanical engineering is good for learning and it has much more importance in our life. But now a days, mechanical engineer has less scope. Practicals taken are less. No any research initiatives taken. No any elective option for mechanical branch.

Internships Opportunities

Actually, internship is the base of the job. As i am in second year, thats why i don't know about that and i have no experience. But every college should provide the internship with some stipend also.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is average. Placements are only for mechanical students. Bajaj, Tata Motors and sometimes L&T is coming. Average package for mechanical student is Rs. 2 to 2.5 LPA. Averagely 30% students got placed.

I know about events from my seniors, technical, cultural and managerial all types of events are taken.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college fee is Rs. 60,000/-. This fee includes all charges. There are no any hidden charges after that excluding mandatory university exam fees. Also students can pay the fee in installments upto the end of the year.

No. I am residing in private room.

Faculty

Our mechanical department has total of 25 staff members. All are very familiar and very free with us. But most faculty is new. So, this is disadvantageous for us in learning.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

I have applied in 3 colleges 1.st guru gobind singh college of engineering and research center Nashik. 2. Matoshri college of engineering 3. Kk wagh college of engineering and research center. Our college takes admission from MHT CET cap rounds. And also Based on Jee main ranks.
