Remarks

The college is overall between moderate and good but i won't recommended to join srm but if you have no other option left then you could join. The ramapuram campus is worst and the college infrastructure is also first there is no proper roads also built here

Entrance Preview

I entered in SRMU by SRMJEE entrance examination. I was called by the college for counselling. There was no interview process for admission. Currently i am doing B.Tech in CSE

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i am doing is cse and much focus is given in practical learning regular lab sessions are conducted in college. Yes SRM published many research papers

Internships Opportunities

The college didn't provide internship we have to find the internship ourselves. I am a student of first year so i didn't know anything about internship. The average stipend was around 5000 as my senior told.

Placement Experience

Placement of year 2013-17 was not good at all only 6% of the students were places and even mass recruiters didn't turned up this time. The major companies are tcs, wipro, etc. The average package is 3.5lpa

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is affordable but not for lower middle category. For B.Tech cse they charge 2lpa +course development fees+book fees which approximately sums to around 3.5lpa

The faculty was not very cooperative. The classes conducted are not very interactive. The standard were good though. The assistant professors are M. Tech holders and hod are P.hd holders and quite qualified staffs

My Life inside VIT'V

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.

I applied to many college and got selected too from their entrance exam but since i had no idea about counselling form and got wrong guidance from my professor that's why i was got selected in any of the college, i got good score in MHT CET, COMEDK, AIEEE, VIT and in all due to lack of proper guidance i got the seat but in that field which i don't want. I applied for vit chennai and vit amravati and woxen Hyderabad. Got confirmed in woxen Hyderabad and vit amravati. I chose my college because of good word of mouth and easy traveling purposes.
