College is good. If you want to take admission here I'll suggest not to stay in the hostel but rather take any pg outside nearby. Also the college is surrounded by market so you don't need to go to far to buy any thing
Entrance Preview
SRM conducts it's own entrance test. No interview process. You just have to choose your branch depending on the availability The students having good ranks are called first.
Course Curriculum Overview
During 1st year more stress is given to theoretical learning. The library is not good. There is no variety of books. Several copies of the same book are kept there. Labs are alright.
Internships Opportunities
I'm a first year student so not much familiar with the internship scenario. But seniors tell us that internships are provided by the college according to your gpa
Placement Experience
Here the average package is of 4 to 6 lacs. Only about 40 percent of students from CSE department got placed in 2016. TCS is one of the companies that take students in bulk. But the average packages are not very high

Not much events are organised in ramapuram campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Hostel fee is 62,000 and mess fee is 67,000 for 1 year. This is for non attached bathroom hostel. The rooms are cleaned 2 in a week. Only grooming no moping is done.
Hostel Facilities
1 Room is shared by 3 students. The bathroom are non attached. The main problem is the bathroom. Out of 12 only 5 are functioning. Often of there 5 some are clogged. Urinals are also often clogged. Sulabh Shauchalayas have better sanitation than SRM bathrooms
Exam Structure
There are 3 exams in one sem. CT1 then CT2 and at last the semester exam.
Faculty
Almost all faculties are graduates from Anna University which is one of the top universities. Faculties are quite interactive. Here rules are followed strictly. Attendence is to be kept above 75% in each subject. If in a particular subject ur attendence is low you will be detained.
