Remarks

College supports to each student for doing any new thing or any research thing. Always ready to help students in academics as well as in personal problems. Always try to motivating the students by means of arranging various guest lectures.

I have filled Cap round form according to the DTE rules. And on the basis of my diploma percentage, i alloted this college according to category and marks merit. I choose mechanical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course and syllabus of this course in engineering is very good to learn various new things in manufacturing, automobile, production, design field. Less focus on practicals. No research initiatives and no elective option.

Internships Opportunities

No internships provided by college. College TPO officer is not taking so much attension in these activities. Not a single student got internship through college.

Placement Experience

Placements are not good in the college campus. But the college allows students for going campus recruitments in other colleges. Companies like Netwin, TCS, Cybage, Amazon are visiting. Including all placements (college campus and other college campus) 40% students got placed. Salary is Rs. 3.5 LPM.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are so high and according to me, these are not affordable to normal students. But college provides some installment facilities for paying this. No need to pay full fees at the time of admission. No any issues with the fees. Fee is Rs. 96,000/- per year for general category.

Faculty

Our mechanical department has total of 30 staff members. From this, 4-5 faculty are PhD holders, remaining all are MTech holders. They also having good experience of teaching in their subjects.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
