Remarks

Overall this college is better than any other college from back side colleges. The college is still developing in terms of the infrastructure, the college building but the classrooms are not properly arranged inside.

Entrance Preview

JEE Mains was the entrance test which i had to go through. Did not score well and didn't even wanted to drop an year hence got into this College.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good and is similar for all Colleges affiliate to Mumbai University. The teaching quality is very poor. The College is meant only fir enjoyment.

Internships Opportunities

There are not INTERNSHIPS for the students. Students have get their internships done privately searching the jobs on their own. There aren't any intiatives been undertaken by the college for the students development.

Placement Experience

Zero, only offered placement as a teacher in the same college says one students sadly, before blending with the darkness. Overall the placement are very poor here .

College Events

YTIET celebrates its Technical Festival – Area 244 in February-end. The students very fond of this fest and have a good time. The cultural festival Crystal is held in March-end.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is almost similar to all other private colleges. The fee setup for this academic year was 98,000₹. The amount is not at all worth as the facilities are poor enough.

Faculty

Average for all departments. Majority are said to be junior professors with little experience. “They wish to help and are very kind-hearted, but aren’t able to, perhaps due to a lack of experience”, quotes one student.

Placement Experience:

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

The highest package: is 24 lpa and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

COEP Technological University through my eyes.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.
