Remarks

The college is big and beautiful , teachers are good . Environment is nice. But there is no proper exposure to students in extracurricular activities.

Entrance Preview

For getting admission in this college you have to crack the entrance exam. The students who have cleared the exam the name will be displayed in the merit list. No interview process was there at my time. I m interested in this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a complete fulltime course of 4 years and in each year 2 semester exam are there. Syllabus is evenly distributed among all semesters. College focusses on both practicals as well as theory . There are research centers in the college.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide any internship , students who are interested can take internship outside the college. Students who have done internship outside they get 5k per month +food+accommodation if they want.

Placement Experience

The placement officer of the college is very nice and guide everything about placement. Some companies do come in the college for recruitment. The major companies that come are tech Mahindra, TCS, cognizant etc. The average package is 3lakh.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for each semester is 60k and hostel fees +bus fees are paid to be separately. Students can pay fees through online as well as offline mode.

The teachers are qualified ,most of them are masters Holders and experienced too. The teaching style is very good . Students get attracted towards lectures. They are interactive . Overall standard of teaching is good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Experiences with MMIT, Lohegaon

I selected this college by seeing the number of companies coming for the final year students to get places, and further when I visited the college I found which was not there in any of the reviews which is the staff and how they treat the students, how they want us to carry ourselves and whatnot. I haven't applied for any quota for admission so I don't know much about it and when it comes for the admission criteria it was just like any other colleges but if you get a chance to visit the college then surely you should try visiting once....Read More
