Course Curriculum Overview

I want to give JELET exam through this course. It's a 3years technical diploma course. Exams are timely and yes like other colleges there is a pressure of study. There are 50+ facilities for 100 students.

TATA, Mahindra are the companies and roles offered under internships with stipend of 240000. The projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks are very stressful and contains lots of pressure as per the salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it's a government college so there is no tension of fees hike. It's very low. You can get SVMCM and Oasis Scholarship also. There is also a internship programme on college campus. The on an average salary is 240000 per annum.

Campus Life

There should be more functional programme and fest organised in college. Library is good ,there are so many books you can get and read in your free time. The books edition should be recent that's only problem. Otherwise all are good.

Admission

You have to give an entrance exam called JEXPO It's all online process on wbscte.co.in Yes there are reservation benefits The classroom should be modern, use digital board and projector for class. And there should be also a canteen for students and staffs.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.
