Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Btech CSE because it was dream to become a Software Engineer. There are total 107 students in 2023 batch and it is the first batch of REC Basti and there are 30-35 girls and rest are boys . Faculty is very supportive and friendly of IET Lucknow because we are currently studying in IET Lucknow. REC Basti is government college so faculties are well trained. There are 2 CTs in every semester and it's quietly hard to pass in these CTs.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 54775 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very low as compared to private colleges which is ?54000 per semester. You can get UP govt scholarship of amount ?55000-60000 for OBC and General and approx 1 lakh for ST students so there will no extra pressure on your family for fees because in scholarship all your fees amount will be refunded.

Campus Life

We are currently studying in IET Lucknow because campus of REC Basti is under construction. The campus life is very good in IET but there are only one to two fest will be held in an year. We have got our fresher party yet. There is library in campus which opens 9:00AM to 6:00PM and there are lot of books which you needed can easily get in it. There are different clubs in college like sports club for cricket, kabbadi, volleyball,etc . One the most popular club is FRACTAL (The Coading club of IET Lucknow) .

Admission

To take admission in REC Basti you you to give JEE Mains exam . After that you have to apply for AKTU counseling. There is no seat for direct admission. There is no specific egilibility criteria for Admission just you have to clear JEE mains exam .

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

The up and downs of the college.

When the counselling was going on I selected IET lucknow ,BIET Jhansi,KNI Sultanpur as my priority as they are top colleges of AKTU then I seleted Rajkiya Engineering college Banda because it has several advantages like it is close to my hometown the fee is affordable compared to other colleges I did not get into top colleges because of my rank and ofcourse caste because i am general When i got alloted this college i came for the physical reporting which took one day ,I submitted all my documents got my ID card , got alloted a room in hostle. Candidate must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent with subject like physics chemistry and mathematics. Application are required to qualify for the JEE Mains examination.
