college is very good in infrastructure, college is average in terms of academics, college has not so good placement opportunity college allows student to participate in various competition.
Entrance Preview
I have written KCET (karnataka common entrance test) . I have got a seat in computer science and engineering through CET in SDIT (shree devi institute of technology) . There was a small interview with the faculty of SDIT (shree devi institue of technology ) . There was no major interview for me as I got a government seat . There was only verification of my certificates and documents for the references of getting a seat .
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Computer science and engineering in SDIT (shree devi institute of technology) . As I am in the first year we have not yet entered our respective branch , the first year has two semester namely physics cycle and chemistry cycle . In my first semester I had got physics cycle in which the practical learning provided by the college was not so bad .SDIT (shree devi instituite of technology) offers courses such as mechanical ,computer science and engineering,civil and aeronautical engineering . They also provide courses such as masters in technology and commerce degrees.
Internships Opportunities
Our college sdit (shree devi institute of technology) does not provide any sort of internship . The students have to either get placed in a respective company or take up higher studies to improve their chances to get a decent job with the good income i did not have any experience as i am a first year student .
Placement Experience
The placements in sdit (shree devi institute if technology) is average the students who get placed are very lucky many students would not be academically eligible for job interview . Te companies which have entered the college are infosys, jsw, hp etc . In sdit most of the students do not prepare or get placed by campus interview and prefer to take up higher studies and facilitate greater number of opportunities for high income , this year 40% of the students got placed by campus interview and the rest started to continue their be or b.tech to masters degree for higher income and better opportunity.
College Events
college has many programmes the first one is onam ,and then college day ,then ethnic day and the fest of shree devi which helps the student to take up a break from academics and enjoy the fest with outmost interests the shree devi organization and the college authorities provide suffiecient funds for the success of the programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for computer science and engineering in SDIT (shree devi instituite of technology) is 94000 INR for the first year and 92000 INR for the following years . It is pretty affordable when compared to other colleges . Which includes all related fees even the transportation fees VTU fees and all the other official fees except examination fees .
Fees and Financial Aid
no the college provides only the proof reciept or slip only for the the bank loan details ,there is no providation of scholarship the students has to check for online details for the application of scholars,and send it to the required to the peopl wfor the betterment of the students
Campus Life
college allows us to participate in xtra curricular acitivities to get a good name and fame in the examinatio which allows us to get a good job in the future regardibg the people and the opportunities provided by the college they help us to get good ideas in extra curriculars and also focus on curricular activities
Hostel Facilities
No, I have not applied for hostel facilities as provided by the college as it was travelable by me . According to my class mates / batch mates , the hostel facilities are okay but in a least position when compared to other colleges . Hostelites and non days scholars have to pay 45000 INR they consist of two people sharing rooms and one person rooms to facilitate students . The food or mess in the student hostel are about average, the quality and variety of food is very low .
Alumni/Alumna
there is no such thing of meeting in this college the seniors have paid some amount for the overall development of college and future generation
Exam Structure
Exam are conducted at SDIT (shree devi institute of technology) . They provide three internals for the betterment of the students academic and career goals . The college has a very chill culture and not so strict about the rules and regulation which confine the students to be a good role model to the college,society . The student have examination as per the VTU board ,hence students will be writting their exams with other college student who are studying in a college which is under VTU board
Faculty
The faculty in SDIT (shree devi institute of technology) are very good . They have experienced lecturers and other faculty members ,the teaching provided in SDIT (shree devi institute of technology ) is average well compared to other engineering colleges . They provide education and explains the related subject topics .It is up to the students o study well as the teachers do not encourage students ask doubts . The improvisation of the academics of the students is literally dependent on the students as the teachers are not so caring about the students career (not all the staff members).
