Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in aviation management and Galgotias had this course cheaper than sharda university or amity university. But there are very less students in our course so we get stuck in every work process. We get our admit cards after struggling a lot, we get no seats in examination because of the poor management. Like we chose (hons+research) with our aviation management course to learn more. But now we only regret ever entering this university and choosing this course. The faculty student ratio is also very different. Like there's very less faculty as compared to the students. All the teachers have to work almost whole day because of the lack of faculty. Some faculty members are educated and fluent in English and are able to teach properly. But there are many who can't even speak English let alone teach any subject, they speak english like uneducated people then maybe just speak in hindi.It's our first year and we've had our mid terms after just 2 months.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
As far as I've seen in my first few months, the fee structure is like you have to pay 25 percent of your fees after 10 days of getting offer letter, and the rest before entering college. But that's only for first year. Idk about second year.
Campus Life
The fests have been very crowded ever since I came. The guards check the students but not the outsiders, what a dumb move. There's no place to even stand let alone enjoy. Classrooms are well made with projectors and air conditioners. Sports is also good at Galgotias university.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for the course was atleast 60 percentage in your 12th marksheet. The application forms can be found in the Galgotias university's official site. Idk much about reservation benefits and maybe there's not much as Galgotias university is a private university. The admission process is slow and management is very bad. They should contact applicants more about the process and what's next. I just waited for response but didn't got any until I reached the university itself for further information. You'll just stay confused if you're an online applicant
