I have most liked the infrastructure of college.
It's also a good environment for students.
The curricular activities are too good in the college.

Dislikes

I have mostly disliked the education system of this college.
No professional faculties are available for particular subject.
The minimum sizes of seats are not fixed from starting onwards.

Course Curriculum Overview

A profession in computer science engineering gives one the freedom to constantly learn new things which breaks up the repetitive workday .nowdays it is easy to get placement through the computer science course so I choosed this course..

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements.Accenture and High radius companies are higher placement to the college.The highest package is 24 lakh per annum while the lowest package is 1,80,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

In computer science engineering course the total course fees is 2,05,000 per year.which include 1,35,000 course fee and 70,000 hostel fees. I have also applied state scholarship and national scholarship.

In every year the branch fest is conducted by every specific branch and also conduct a tech fest at the end of the year. outdoor games like cricket, football, badminton are playing in ground and indoor games like chest carrom are also available for students and faculties.

Eligibility criteria is only you to appear jee or ojee.otherwise you to appear giet conduct entrance for getting addmission in the college.only reserved seat are available for foreign people.you can also know about the college details by typing www.giet.edu official website..

Placements are like if u study its sure u will get a placement but if u got distracted and got in anything else so placement will not be urs.avg 6 8 Lpa,highest 55lpa but if u have heard of iter fraud news they just did fraud placements like by paying high amount of money to get in placement exam. many companies like TCS INFOSYS GOOGLE MICROSOFT ACCENTURE DELOITTE etc come every year. placement rate is 80 90%

TRUTH OF ITER

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

Life at giet

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate five out of five about the curriculum of the giet university because it is more updated in comparison of other universities of odisha. The exams are taken in the gap of one and a half month. There is no need to update the curriculum

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this university is updated and they conduct regularly test. The timing for 2 cycle tests is about one and a half month and the semester exam is conducted after 2nd cycle test. The level of exam is quite good and anyone can secure Good marks if they try hard

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

GIET UNIVERSITY - Best place to learn in southern odisha

According to money factor this college is great. Under such low fee college is great for providing course other than any college. I applied for SOA University and course fee is too high there. Also my college is a university. So there is no worry about anything. For admission in giet you have applied for OJEE odisha and contact a marketing officer or direct join in college. You have to pay 10-15 thousand rupees for advance fees. In admission day you have to pay hlaf of your fees in one year. You will get everything in that day. Rank doesn't matter here...Read More
